Bloomsburg University Hosting Art Exhibits
Bloomsburg, PA (12/21/2021) — Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania his hosting two art exhibits that run until February.
In the Haas Center for the Arts Gallery, Seth Goodman's paintings focus on America's class structure and the dysfunction of our political apparatus. An associate professor of art at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Goodman's show runs through Feb. 24. A public reception and gallery lecture will be Thursday, Feb. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At the Gallery at Greenly Center on Main Street, Bloomsburg, Texas artist Cody Arnall's show "Are You Looking for the Mother Lode?" includes videos and sculptures. "Through material selection and manipulation, I address human intervention in landscape and impending doom," said Arnall. The exhibition will run through Feb. 2. Arnall will give a lecture on his work in the Arts and Administration Building, room 221, on Wednesday, Feb 2, at 1 p.m. An artist's reception will be held on Feb 2, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
